Located onsite at Bohio Dive Resort, Guanahani Restaurant & Bar is perched overlooking the soft sands and azure waters of world-class Pillory Beach.
The distinguished restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with an extensive menu prepared by Executive Chef, Jorika Mhende.
Laying claim to a broad range of specialties, Chef Mhende creates world-class cuisine from various countries and cultures. Her fans love the fact that the menu changes daily and there’s not a day that goes by without there being a delicious addition or special up for grabs.
It’s incredible to think that even on the remote island of Grand Turk, Chef Jorika can produce traditional dishes week after week from India, Spain, Greece, Italy, and Thailand to name a few.
Guanhani’s menu is complemented by an extensive wine list, a mouth-watering cocktail list, as well as coffees, cognacs, and a wide range of fine Cuban cigars to draw your evening to a close.
Cuisine Made Fresh To Order
From tender, juicy steaks and fresh seafood to mouth-watering vegetarian dishes, every meal at Guanahani is made fresh to order. Chef Mhende takes time and care with each and every one of her creations. To give that personal touch, we ask that you expect at least a 45 minute preparation time.

There is always something going on at Bohio. From Reggae BBQ on Saturday nights to Sunday Brunch and British High Tea – choices can change daily or weekly, but Chef Jorika’s creations are always exceptional.
Wednesdays are saved for Salt Cay Gary and classic oldies tunes while Chef Jorika treats us to her seasonal Bento Box Specials, served in a traditional Japanese bento box with chopsticks and a complimentary sake.
Saturday night is Reggae BBQ night, where Chef Jorika prepares a delicious menu on our outside grill while Bohio’s live Rake & Scrape Band will help you dance the night away.
Sunday mornings mean Sunday Brunch, which includes your choice of Bohio’s champagne mimosa or Bloody Shrimp Caesar cocktail. You can also enjoy the Soothing Sounds of Kahlil on the piano in our outdoor lounge.
Bohio Dive Resort now offers British High Tea along with a selection of finger sandwiches, fresh scones with Devon clotted cream and preserves, and miniature sweets to finish, all served with either a pot of English Tea, Champagne, or Pimms.
Of course, our regular menu is also always available from Sunday through Friday, excluding the Saturday Reggae BBQ.
About Our Chef
Chef Jorika Mhende joined Bohio in 2007 and is a South African native, graduating from Pretoria Technikon in 1986. Jorika spent years cooking for African hunting camps – experience that taught her how to take local food and make it “smart.”
Mhende lays claims to a broad range of specialties. She boasts skills in mastering world-class cuisine from various countries. Her Phad Thai is incredible and the locals consider her restaurant among Grand Turk’s very best. Her cuisine has made quite an impression on the island, and we are endlessly thankful to have her at Bohio.
