Our islands are renowned warm, tranquil waters, gorgeous beaches and magnificent diving, but from late January to early April they are also home to the migration of these graceful creatures- so book now to get in early for 2016!
Experience the magnificence of the humpback whales as they migrate through the Turks Head passage, just past Salt Cay toward the Silver Banks of the Dominican Republic for birthing and then return back to Turks and Caicos every year from January through beginning of April.
Our front row seat to the annual whale migration is a unique and magnificent sight to behold. We can also arrange a tour for you that will take you closer (yet a respectful distance) from these gentle giants. Or you can even watch from shore.
You’ll learn about the migration and the whales themselves by experienced captains who have been navigating these waters for years. Later let Bohio’s outstanding chefs treat you to some of the finest creations you’ll find on the island, go for a colourful snorkel, an unforgettable dive, or take in nearby Gibbs Key and play with stingrays, or maybe a horseback ride along the beach.
