Grand Turk isn’t a large island by any means, but there are a number of notable locations within easy-to-more-ambitious kayaking distances around the island. If you’re up for a few miles of kayaking, you can head up around the north end of Grand Turk and down into North Creek, right in the heart of the island. It’s about 2 miles (3.5km) north to the mouth of North Creek, and then you can kayak another couple miles inland. It’s beautiful.
Of course, maybe a shorter trip is more your speed, in which case a short journey south down by the Grand Turk Museum is more your speed – only about one mile (2.2km) for the round trip.
Whatever your preference, all you have to do is walk down to the beach and your chariot awaits!
