There’s no shortage of exceptional diving around Grand Turk, and the Grand Turk Wall is now getting international recognition. Voted #10 in the category Best Caribbean Dive Sites by USA Today 10 Best, the Wall plunges from 30 feet to 7000 feet!
So what can you expect to see when diving the Wall? Aside from witnessing the spectacular drop off there is a full spectrum of marine life. Not only will you see a wide variety sponges and corals, but there are tropical fish, groupers, and large pelagic fish. You may also catch site of reef sharks, eagle rays, sea turtles and nurse sharks.
Divers travel from all over to explore the Wall for themselves, so it comes as no surprise that the “Grand Canyon of the Caribbean” is earning its place among the best dive sites. An extra bonus? A lot of the sea life is close to the surface, meaning you don’t have to be a diver to see it for yourself—the Wall can be seen snorkeling, too!
