We take for granted what we can see – just looking up at a night’s sky we can see stars and solar systems countless lightyears away, distances so vast we have trouble wrapping our heads around them.
Yet when we strap on a mask and dive beneath the sea, depending on where we are in the world we often can’t see more than a few dozen feet thanks to all the dirt, debris populating the waters. Heck, it may even be too cold to jump in where you live!
But that doesn’t happen in the waters off the Turks and Caicos Islands. The water here is so crystal clear, so beautifully clean that you can see for hundreds of feet. It’s ‘Turks and Caicos Clear’ and it changes the game when it comes to diving and snorkeling.
Suddenly you have a clarity of vision underwater that allows you to take in all of your surroundings, the beautiful reefs, the wildlife, the wrecks you explore, in a way you just can’t in other parts of the world. Like looking up at the stars at night, it’s awe-inspiring and beautiful.
If you’ve never seen Turks and Caicos Clear, make sure you add diving off Grand Turk to your bucket list. You won’t regret it!
