We love our island paradise and have long felt that there’s no place quite like it on Earth. Looks like guests writing TripAdvisor reviews agree. Just this week the TripAdvisor 2015 Travelers’ Choice Awards, selected Turks and Caicos’ Providenciales (Provo) as the #1 Most Beautiful Island in the World. There truly is no place in the world like the Turks and Caicos, and this latest recognition is further evidence of that fact. (The awards are based on the quality and quantity of user reviews over the last 12 months.)
The Turks and Caicos consist of 40 different islands and cays, only eight of which are inhabited. The islands of the Turks and Caicos are diverse. From the main tourist center in Providenciales, the largest and most populated of the islands, to the quiet and tranquil islands of Salt Cay, Pine Cay, North and Middle Caicos, to the historic Capital Island of Grand Turk, home to Bohio Dive Resort, each one offers a different experience and a unique character, but all offer year round great climate, beaches and underwater activities.
Most of the islands, like Grand Turk, are only about 10 to 25 minutes by air from Provo which has daily flights from all the major US hubs. Most can be reached by boat as well. There are also regular ferries from North to Middle Caicos, and Grand Turk to Salt Cay.
So, what are you waiting for? Come see one of the most beautiful places on earth for your very self!
